Confirmation
The sacrament of Confirmation is all about choices. When we choose to be confirmed, we choose to own the baptismal promises that - for most of us - our parents made for us when we were still in diapers. We choose to stand up and be counted. We choose to tell the world that we are ready to fully and actively participate in our faith community. We choose to acknowledge and accept our birthright as children of God. We choose faith!
Choosing to be confirmed is an important decision. We believe teens in our parish deserve special time and space to discern what path to take as young adults and how faith fits into this path. We welcome into our program all teens enrolled in high school as of Fall 2017 and invite you to join us at a Candidate/Parent information meeting on October 4, 2017 at 7 PM in the Social Hall at St. Matthew’s to learn more about our program. In the meantime, please complete the Confirmation registration form below and, if you have questions, please drop by the church office, call us at 518-765-2805 Ext. 13 or email Chrisi Young at [email protected].
